Amrut Two Continents is a single malt whisky inviting to travel and embodies the particularity of this distillery. Made from selected Indian barley grown at the feet of Himalayas, its journey continues further south to the distillery in Bangalore where the brewing and distillation take place. The aging, in a warehouse at more than 1000m altitude, combined with the tropical climate gives a share of angels above 10%. Once aged for several years on site, it will finish its aging in Europe, thus linking the history of Indian whisky to its roots, whether European or Indian.
Fruity and floral. Honey, orange, caramel.
Tasting notes
Nose : Fruity and floral carnation with a layer of salted caramel. It further develops into an array of sweet orange and tropical fruits. The vanilla and honey made their mark in an eloquent and creamy way.
Palate : Brilliant texture. It is floral and fruity. Tropical fruits notes are sublime with a tint of honey and sweet oranges. It then evolves on vanilla and caramel notes, going velvety to the core.
Overall : Honey coated with a floral note and a shade of mint.
