De Fettercairn 16 years old 2nd Release 2021 is een 16 jaar oude Highlands single malt van de Fettercairn distilleerderij. Deze tweede 16 jaar oude release, de opvolger van de 1st Release 2020, heeft gerijpt in een combinatie van first fill Oloroso sherry, refill Oloroso sherry en oudere Palo Cortado sherry vaten. Hij is in 2021 gebotteld op 46,4%.

Nose: sugared almonds, dried fruits and aged wood

Palate: Alphonson mango, rich citrus zest, apricots and sun-kissed raisins balanced with walnut, light roasted coffee, cacao and antique liquorice notes

Finish: the finish encompasses salted caramel, sandalwood and iced ginger cake
