The Glencadam distillery is located just half a mile from the centre of the Scottish town of Brechin. It opened its doors in 1825, shortly after distilling was legalised. Today, whisky is still produced there as it was in 1825. Master Distiller Robert Fleming chose sherry and bourbon casks from the distillery’s traditional ‘Dunnage’ warehouse, which he then matured in the selected sherry butts from Andalusia.
