Springbank 12 Years Old Cask Strength Batch 27 is a limited-edition cask strength single malt from Springbank. The popular expression was introduced in 2010 and is released twice a year. Springbank 12 Years Old Cask Strength Batch 27 matured in a combination of 60% bourbon, 35% sherry and 5% rum casks, and was bottled in 2025 at 55.9%. The result is a unique Campbeltown dram with a sweet and vibrant nose of pineapple and banana loaf. A slight hint of peat smoke kicks off the palate, with notes of milk chocolate and creme brulee. The sweetness continues in the finish, along with a hint of cinnamon.
